Scholarships

The Mercer County Civic Foundation is home to more than 80 scholarship funds. Many of these funds were established by our generous donors to memorialize loved ones, honor important people in their lives and to “pay it forward.” All of them were created to support students with the rising costs of higher education.  

MCCF scholarship applications are now completed on-line, and paper applications will no longer be accepted. Below you will find the link to our scholarship portal, the scholarship spreadsheet, which lists all available scholarships and their criteria, and a list of frequently asked questions.  

To Apply, click the link https://goapply2.akoyago.com/mercer. After you create an account, you will need to click on Opportunities in the upper left-hand of the screen. When you do, the list of scholarships will appear. Click on the scholarship you would like to apply for to open the application.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions 

How do I access scholarship applications?

First, you must create an account, which will give you access to the scholarship application portal. Once you have access, you will click on opportunities in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. 

Is there one application I can complete to be considered for all scholarships? 

No. Unfortunately, we do not have a universal scholarship application. You must fill out an application for each of the scholarships in which you are interested. 

How do I know which scholarships I am eligible for? 

Mercer County Civic Foundation has a Scholarship Spreadsheet which lists all the scholarships, and their requirements.  

Do I have to complete my application in one sitting? 

No. You can save your work and come back later. Just make sure you hit the save button on the screen. When you are ready to submit, you will hit the submit button. 

What if I’m having a problem with the portal?

Are there any scholarships for students already in college? 

Yes! We have several that are specifically for college students or non-traditional adult students. They are listed on our scholarship spreadsheet.
